BPC-157 / TB-500

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice, and it stays stable even in the acidic environment of the stomach. For more than thirty years the group of Professor Predrag Sikirić in Zagreb has studied it in models of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut healing, with a strong focus on the growth of new blood vessels.TB-500 is a synthetic version of the active region of thymosin beta-4, a protein present in almost every human cell. Thymosin beta-4 regulates actin, the protein cells use to move, which is why it is studied in cell migration, wound healing and tissue repair.The two work in complementary ways: BPC-157 acts locally, where the damage is, through growth factor signalling, while TB-500 works throughout the body. That is why the pair is often called the gold standard of recovery stacks in sport and biohacking.
