How we test, every time

Stock goes through the same checks before it's listed as available.

  1. Step 1

    Sourcing

Every compound is sourced from suppliers who provide their own batch-level testing as a baseline.

  2. Step 2

    Independent testing

Batches are tested by an independent laboratory via HPLC. The test is ordered and paid for by the supplier, so the lab's report carries the supplier's name, not ours.

  3. Step 3

    Documentation

Batch code, analysis date and purity are published on the lab results page, together with the lab's own verification key.

  4. Step 4

    Storage

Stock is held under the conditions each compound's stability data calls for, not one blanket policy.

Batch reports, purity and verification keys are published on our lab results page.

Not sure how to read a certificate of analysis? See our guide: How to Read a Certificate of Analysis (COA).

Frequently asked

Who actually runs the tests?
An independent laboratory, on the supplier's order. We don't run a lab and we don't pay for the analysis, so the report names the supplier as the client. We publish it exactly as issued.
Can I request a COA before ordering?
Yes, message us with the product and we'll send the current batch's COA. Published batches are also listed on our lab results page.
What if a batch fails testing?
It's not listed. We'd rather show reduced stock than sell something we haven't verified.
